Dr. Matthew Francis is Professor of Department of Chemistry at UC Berkeley, and Associate Dean of College of Chemistry at UC Berkeley. He is also Director of Organic Chemistry Division at Molecular Foundry, LBNL. Dr. Francis built a research program involving the development of new organic reactions for protein modification. These new chemical tools have then been used to modify biomolecular assemblies for diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Cheng Liu is the founder and CEO of Eureka Therapeutics, a California biotech company dedicated to antibody research and discovery for cancer immunotherapy. Dedicating to founding Eureka, Dr. Liu was a Principal Scientist in antibody drug discovery at Chiron (now Novartis), where he championed anti-CSF1 antibody program for treatment of bone metastasis to human clinical trials. He is the inventor of multiple issued US patents in drug discovery.

Sonny Hsiao, PH.D

Dr. Hsiao is the principle investigator of two NIH grants to evaluate Adheren’s cell therapy technology. His PhD research at UC Berkeley resulted in an patent for a novel cell therapy based on bio-conjugation. Dr. Hsiao has extensive research experience in the field of T cell and NK cell therapy and has contributed both to the discovery of components of the Antibody-Cell Conjugation (ACC™) technology to the invention of new T cell immunotherapy.
